This question came to me a while ago because Pence and Braun were tearing it up for my team. Pence has been awesome, but I haven't seen a rookie with Braun's fantasy output in a long...ever, I guess. That got me thinking since I've only played fantasy baseball for 4 years...who has been the most impactful (is that a word?) rookie ever in fantasy baseball? I'm voting for Braun (with limited knowledge) and giving Liriano a close second, and only because of his injury. Thoughts?
Go Tigers!

From memory, it has probably been Pujols' 2001 season where he played almost the every game and hit .329 with 37HRs and 130RBI.
Can't really think of many pitchers who have been that dominant off the start, but I'm sure there have been a few over the past two decades.

to say the least. Doc Gooden (17-9, 2.60 ERA, 276ks)
Liriano's first year was pretty good.

Williams had a better rookie season.

I don't think anyone was playing Fantasy during Williams Era.

True, but I was just listing the best rookie seasons ever and Williams is clearly the best for a hitter.
