is salty gonnna be the every day guy?

just wondering cuz as much as a catcher is a moot point in fantasy unless you have a top 5 guy, like posada martinez mauer etc. i got barrett. and with or without him he is the worst producer on my team. but if salty can be the every day guy in texas i can drop pierzinski and grab him to spot replace barrett .

I read that he's going to catch 2 times a week and probably play 1B the rest of the time. Not quite sure if he'll be playing everyday. He is starting today though at 1b and he's batting 7th.

It looks likely that he'll be playing either C or 1B everyday.

I picked up Salty yesterday (to replace Molina). I like the fact that he's in the lineup all week and only catching twice.

We'll see.

I picked him up on most of my teams and did not drop my catcher on 2/3s of them. He will be used depending on C & 1B match-ups and when my better C is out. As V. Martinez yesterday. I fiqure him to play 8-10 days when my better catcher has an off day. He will play today on teams where Mauer is my catcher.

thanks guys. i'm thinking of picking him up for barrett. sd has not been that good for him days off and petco park not hitting when in there is hurting. the only problem is i got 3 first baseman fielder pujols and berkman. berkman i use in the of fielder as util and if i grab salty with his c eligability i can use him at catcher if he can produce better than barrett. i think he will be more serviceable cause he will get more playing time than barrett but that can hurt if he can't produce.
