Only problem is his numbers, particularly his power numbers after the break, kinda worry me just a bit.
He went 20-101-.300 with 22 swipes for the year but second half just 6-45-.330 with 13 sb.
Guess just chalk up last year to a down year and expect a rebound this year?
Don't worry about Abreu. The lineup should be much improved. Watch Byrd leading off, this kid's going to be a real bargain. I got him down for his usual amount of steals and average, but his HR's, RBI's, and runs should get a nice bump.

Abreu will do just fine, I also think that Byrd could be a real steal

Bobby lost some weight during the offseason too. He should be coming into this season with his best outlook yet.

Bobby Abreu, who reported to camp at 235 pounds last season, is currently around his playing weight of 210 pounds. Abreu's weight gain wasn't really any kind of a factor last year, but it's still nice that he's in better shape this time around. Clearly making an effort to appease Larry Bowa, Abreu said his main goal for this year is to cut down on his strikeouts. It's one of those harmless statements that always sound good during spring training. Source: Philadelphia Inquirer
