Pitchers,Relievers in Yahoo

Postby RynMan » Mon Feb 09, 2004 8:18 pm

Hi ppls
im playing the yahoo rotisserie league this year and was wondering which relievers i should go for (if at all). At yahoo they allow you to take SP,SP, RP,RP, P,P,P. I was wondering who are some decent relievers to take if the closers are gone (i figure i need at least one closer), is raphael soriano up there?

Also the remaining three pitchers spots. What should i do with them? what do most of you do? fill them with starters? or do you target on a category (wins, strikeouts) and try and get a guy to up that category - remember im playing rotisserie style. Thanks alot!

Soriano, Lidge, Mota, and Fransisco Rodriguez are a few of the best imo.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Here's a little hint about yahoo, after you get your 2-3 closers for the RP spot, grab Danny Graves and Shawn Chacon and plug them into the SP spots giving you 4-5 closers. ;-D

I was going to post this same thing. You can plug any pitcher into those slots as long as they are eligible. You don't have to fill your roster with a bunch of setup guys. That is, of course, unless your league counts holds or something

Farnsworth may not get saves but he'll get you 100 K's in around 75 innings. If you cannot secure a closer he is worth a look.
