No shut down reliever in that group of 5 at all. That will still be an average bullpen at best. It is an improvement but nothing to get excited about looking forward as there is just no dominant arm in that pen just yet.

If we had an average bullpen for the first 4 months of the season, we would have 7 more wins then we do right now. So our record would be 47-58 which would still be one of the worst in the American League. But a heckuva lot better then past years, and probably if not for some unlucky injuries(upton, baldelli), we could possibly have 51 wins or so. That would put us challenging for 3rd place in the East which would not be a bad year imo.

6 shutout innings today after Hammel left due to a shoulder injury. It seems mighty weird to see 6 shutout innings from a Devil Ray bullpen.
