Ignorance is bliss...se la vi!

He pulled up while trying to run out a groundout and then very gingerly limped off the field...we all need to cross our fingers and hope he feels better tomorrow...

Yeesh!

Per Rotoworld:

Shane Victorino will undergo an MRI Tuesday after injuring his right calf during Monday's victory.
The Phillies' right fielder said he heard a pop, which makes a DL stint fairly likely. Michael Bourn will take over in right field, assuming that he can overcome the ankle sprain he suffered tonight. The Phillies also have Greg Dobbs as an option there. They might try to pick up a Bobby Kielty-type cheap before the deadline.

I don't have have Shane in my team, but with him and possibly Bourn going down, Rollins is gonna have to move back in the leadoff spot. Not that anything is wrong with that, but a few more RBI ops wouldn't hurt.

Lovely. This is been a brutal couple of weeks. H-Ram, Utley, Pence, Saito, and now Victorino. Well, here's to hoping all of these injuries make 'em fresh for the playoffs! ;-)

My list of injured players has been long since Allstar break as well... Hall, Ortiz, Han-Ram, Cuddyer, Chris Young, Harang, and Otsuka, whom I finally (and possibly in error) dropped to make room for another closer when I found out I was losing Dotel. Then theres Street, who is supposed to be okay, but I'm not really believing it. Now Victorino goes down. Oh, and on the other thread, they are talking about the possibility of Smoltz being injured again. I'm looking at limping into the playoffs... Lol.
