Rotoworld:

Shane Victorino left Monday's game in the fourth inning with an apparent leg injury.
Victorino came up lamb running out a grounder. The Phillies will hope it's just a cramp, but a strain is more likely. Michael Bourn took over in right field and would play regularly if Victorino lands on the DL, giving him plenty of fantasy value.

as a phillies fan...this is getting depressing. utley, madson, victorino in a week...

The announcers are saying it's a calf "sprain" and it will probably take a week to heal....

I'm limping into the playoffs in 1st place this year :-o

WGN 720 in Chicago called it a calf sprain as well...nothing like losing a guy on the first game of a week with a locked roster...se la vi...

i didn't see it. but word is it was strained calf muscle.

bourn then twisted his ankle pretty bad in the 5th inning but stayed in the game. so him getting extra playing time is not a lock either.

If it's a strained calf, looks like we're looking at at least two weeks for Victorino being out:

Grade 1 Calf Strain : The muscle is stretched causing some small micro tears in the muscle fibers. Full recovery takes approximately two weeks.

Grade 2 Calf Strain : There is partial tearing of muscle fibers. Full recovery takes approximately 5-8 weeks.

Grade 3 Calf Strain : This is the most severe calf strain with a complete tearing or rupture of muscle fibers in the lower leg. Full recovery can take 3-4 months and, in some instances, surgery may be needed.
