Has the irony that both Garnett and Big Al suffered a season ending knee injury this year? I think not.

I appear to be missing a few words in that sentence... Maybe that should be Is it ironic that....

Personally as a Wolves fan I'm glad that the trade happened and that Garnett (and the Celtics) won the title. The Wolves weren't going anywhere with him and they couldn't rebuild either. They are still a bad team but they are starting to acquire some talent that can be a foundation for a solid team.
