Tyner is batting leadoff tonight, but hes likely back to the bench once Cuddyer returns.

You'd think that Casilla would.
He's a speedy little freak , (now MY speedy little freak) who stole 50 bases last year in the minors. He has a minor league .370 OBP which is pretty good.

I think they aren't done. Like it was said earlier Castillo was probably only half of the trade. I could see Punto staying at second and bringing in somebody to play third. The buzz here in MN is that the 5.75 million is cash to use freely.

I would guess that Casilla bats leadoff and plays 2nd. Punto is just too much of a liability at the plate for the offensively challenged Twins to keep marching him out there. Hopefully this is a precursor as jfg alluded to, because on the surface it looks like a poor deal for the Twins.
