I never get tired of the reruns.

I agree. THere are so many 1 liners that are classic. It is one of my favorite shows to watch, because the reruns never get old. THis thread has me to make a thread of my top 5 favorite shows, just to see what everyone thinks

Most people seem to love it or hate it.

I love it. Definitely top 5, though I never bothered to rank.

I think having grown up in the 90's, Seinfeld was a bit hard to appreciate (especially when The Simpsons and South Park were all the rage), but in watching all the late-night reruns the last 5 or 7 years (well, since it's come off the air and run into syndication), it grew on me. It would rank in my top 5 as well.

Also a child of the 90's, a never really started watching it until I was like 13-14 years old...but now I'd put it in my top three....with Scrubs and Friends....just above the Simpsons.

Best sitcom of all time. IMO.

Seinfeld is great because it was one of those shows that you could keep watching over and over even though it was always the same people.

Home Improvement was another 90s show that i grew up watching and seems to have had a longetivity in the 90s, as did Friends.

I agree about Home Improvement...its reruns are also really funny. Friends, on the other hand, is not funny at all anymore. I think it was too much drama and not enough comedy, which makes for poor reruns after you already know how the story ends.

yeah, i meant it was a popular show of the 90s. The popular shows now would be The Office, Survivor, Entourage have been big shows of the 00's, I wish Arrested development stayed around for a few more seasons, they had a lot of great actors on that show.

It takes a good cast and writers who can write to the actors to make a sucessful tv show that has a longetivity.
