Cafe access from here wasn't happening

I'm back in the office now, and catching up on things. Two things I've noticed:

- Free StatTracker
It sounds like this has worked itself out for people, albeit a bit slower than might be desirable? Anyone still having problems here?

- Players going into NA status
This has been an ongoing issue for a few weeks now. We're definitely aware of the problem, and talking to our data provider to try to get to the bottom of it. Someone somewhere commented that this should be very simple, as we'd simply tell them to put Harden on the DL. I wish life were that simple A few problems with that:

People don't always do what you want when you ask them to

It isn't just Harden, he was just a pretty visible example. It has been various players.

We don't manually mark guys as injured. You wouldn't want that; it would lead to more threads here about Yahoo being arbitrary If our provider marks Harden as DL, but then our next data dump from them puts him back as NA, the problem recurs. This is why we're trying to figure out why they keep fluttering people between DL and NA

I saw I had a handful of private messages as well. I'll try to get to those today. Hope all of your teams did better than mine did in my absence... I swear my players monitor my vacation schedule and time their collapses to coincide.

1. Why hasn't Jacob Ellsbury been added to the Yahoo database?

2. Any chance some of these guys viewtopic.php?t=310311 will get the Joey Votto/Ryan Braun/Eric Patterson treatment and be added to the Yahoo database before they are called up?

I guess I'm out of the loop here, because I seem to be the only one that doesn't know who you are "Genie." I have only been very active in these forums the past couple months, so that might explain it. From the above posts, it sounds like you pull some weight around Yahoo Fantasy Baseball, so I am glad to know we have you in our midst!

My only comment is that I signed up for the Coke Rewards - Stattracker promo last wednesday and have yet to recieve my code. I signed up with a non-Yahoo email address because that is the one I use for league updates, pending trades, etc. I thought this might have been the problem, but other people have said they recieved their codes using MSN, AOL, etc. email addresses.

Other than that, I faced the DL-NA issue with Kendrick and Sheets a few weeks back, but those 2 players seemed to have worked themselves out. I haven't had to deal with Harden, but I'm sure you guys are working on it...
