Now onto the Rangers. Where does Salty rank among catchers now? Obviously he's after Martin, Martinez, Mauer, and McCann..

But is he in that next tier?

Also, I have a hard time believing that they bring Botts up to play the OF.. The guy's made for the DH role. He may get some starts out there, but I think Catalanotto would see more time out there than Botts.

I think they'll try and move Sosa, DH Botts, Wilkerson will play 1st, then the OF would be Catalanotto, Byrd, and Cruz.

Cruz was absolutely destroying AAA pitching... I wish the guy would learn to take a pitch .

i think andruw will still bat 4th, and like you said frenchy and mccann will probably swap back and forth depending on the pitcher.

Teix is reported to start batting clean-up as early as tomorrow. a .215 average doesn't look too great for a clean-up batter.
