Ben Sheets was able to throw Friday without a splint on his sprained middle finger. Sheets is expected to be examined Tuesday, at which point a program will be set up for his return to action, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. At this time, he appears to be on his original target for returning in 2-4 weeks.
