How about the worst pitcher otherwise worshipped? I nominate Daisuke.

Out of SPs with 120+ innings, he's 35th in ERA, 34th in WHIP, and will give a QS a full 64% of the time (also 35th best).

Actually, I think the answer to that question is Clemens... worse ERA, worse QS percentage, same whip..... and he gets paid some ridiculous amount (more than Daisuke....)
