If you look, Bonderman fades late in the season (or he has the last two years):

The theory is that his power-pitcher repertoire starts to fail him as he tires late in the year.

Whatever it is, it seems to only impact his BB rates:

His K-rate seems to hold just steady throughout the year.

I traded 3 years of Bonderman for a year of Haren and Beckett a few weeks ago, and I don't think I'll regret it one bit until next April.

I think you possibly were reading something in my question ("Is there something wrong with this guy? An injury perhaps?") that wasn't there. I wasn't where I could watch the game last night, so I was simply curious if there was something wrong with him. Please don't overreact to my lack of panic. :-?

i agree...to much... i bet in his next start, if he does good in it, someone will post, "bonderman back to normal?"....just like the santana reactions...

well said dude yess this does happen to everyone hard to believe i know but bonderman does throw consitent quality starts year in and year out for detroit ;-D

will not happen that much from this point onward
