Weekly lineups suck. Said he was going to get an MRI, that probably equals not playing much. So I bench him, then he hits his first homer in forever!!!!!!! When does Football start, this is too frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

weekly line-ups suck. I'm thinking of quitting the one league I play in where we have weekly line-ups... the other two are daily, so much more flexibility. Weekly line-up leagues are in the dark ages.

I had him on the bench in my weekly league too!!
I think we made the right call though. He wasn't in the lineup, and still may not be tonight. I knew he could pinch run, or come in on defense like he did on Sunday. Sucks that he hits his first HR in eons while on my bench though!!

hurts seeing that on the bench in my weekly league especially with no offensive players going yesterday
From the team's website - says he'll play today, too (Tues.) but I don't know what to believe anymore - read a little further down for details:
ST. PETERSBURG -- Carl Crawford took batting practice on Monday, but was out of the lineup for the third consecutive game since landing funny on his right wrist during Friday night's game against the Red Sox. "It's straight," said Crawford when asked about his wrist.
Crawford had an MRI on Monday that showed no major damage.
"Everything is fine," he said. "They said it was nothing major. I took a couple of swings today. It still hurts. It's not like something magically is going to happen overnight."
Crawford said the wrist is not 100 percent and likely won't be 100 percent the rest of the season, but added: "It's playable."
The Rays All-Star said he hates not playing.
"That's just as bad as standing out in left field getting beat, 17-4," he said.
Though he did not start, Crawford was available on Monday night and is expected to be in the starting lineup on Tuesday night.
Jul 31 Bill Chastain, of DevilRays.MLB.com, reports Tampa Bay Devil Rays OF Carl Crawford (wrist) will be in the team's lineup Tuesday, July 31. An MRI Crawford had on the wrist Monday, July 30, showed no major damage and while he probably will not be playing at 100 percent for the rest of the season , the problem is not something that will keep Crawford from the field.
