Hi,

I saw Crawford wasn't in the lineup today, and the AP has a report about a wrist injury. Does anyone have any idea how long he won't be able to hit? Thanks.

Here's the dealio from Rotoworld - I probably wouldn't put him in a weekly line-up. I'd hate to see him go on the DL but if that's what he has to do to be effective in the fantasy playoffs, it's starting to sound like it might be better if he did.

Carl Crawford will have an MRI on his sprained right wrist Monday.
"I never hurt my wrist like this before," said Crawford, who was used as a defensive replacement Sunday. "I'm just leaving it alone right now. It hurts just to grip the bat. I haven't even picked up a bat. Probably wait another day or so and see. I'll know more tomorrow." Mixed leaguers with quality alternatives may need to bench Crawford this week after all.

didn't he recently miss a few games because of a sprained ankle? and now he sprained his wrist? wow i got rid of him just in time...

I'm still happy to have him. I was hoping for a little bit better, but he stole 12 SB's in July for me so far, that was pretty sweet - he also had been swinging the bat a little better lately. I think he's just nicked up like a lot of people are. Like I said, it would be good for him to go on the DL if he needs it but I'm not too worried about him.

CC cannot swing a bat at the moment. He wont be in the linup tonight and is having an MRI on it today. Depending on that he may have to go on the DL. He said this is the worst is wrist has ever felt and the worst injury to his wrist he has had. This is the same wrist he injured before.
