Reyes pitched two innings last night because the game was tied and in extra innings. I think he put three men on base over the 2 innings so he may have had a pretty high pitch count.
I don't think this means there will be a trade but it definitely means they are protecting his arm with his recent DL stint on the record books.

But Al Reyes doesn't go three days in a row. In fact, TB has been unwilling to use him two days in a row for most of the season. Maybe they would have put him in if he had pitched only a quick inning yesterday, but since he had thrown 44 pitches, I don't think there was any way he'd pitch today.
again though it IS possible....people were asking the rays for him
just saying traded or not he wouldnt be in the game today
do the rays play tomorrow? if hes held out then (or tuesday for example) then its REAL likely he was (and i know time deadline is what 4 or 5?? but deals sometimes trickle out officially much later)
