That's actually not all taht awful. Yeah, you aren't getting the steals right now, but stelas are kind of fluky anyways. He's not going to steal exactly 3 bases every week for you..... every player gets hot and cold, at least he's still hitting for a decent average...

He should be fine (hoping)...he did most of his power # damage in August and September last year...and looking at his splits, he was brutal last July as well...

Geez - getting 3 RBI and a steal in one game isn't all that uncommon for a lot of players out there - this is what he's accumulated in 10 games. I guess I expect more from a #1 overall pick - which is looking like a mistake on my part...

Ortiz goes through stretches (10+ games) w/o hitting a HR, same with Howard, Fielder...Santana can go a few starts without a W...it happens, but I feel your pain...but what other option do you have? You can't bench him, and what alternate would you have at SS if you traded him? His #'s will be there at the end of the year.

I can't see how anyone can complain about Reyes' stats. He has hit over .300 for the year, an OBP around .380, 49SB's, 7HR's, 41RBI's, etc. He's doing exactly what everyone who drafted him with their first round pick expected him to do.

In my opinion, Pujols has been the bigger disappointment, not to mention the slew of other 1st and 2nd round underachievers like Beltran, Berkman, Crawford, A. Jones, Wells, Hafner, etc.

When Reyes finishes the year with .300 12HR's 70RBI's 75SB's and 110R's, you won't hear me complaining.
