Any news on Otsuka 2nd opinion?

Anyone heard the results of yesterday's second opinion on his elbow? I am carrying three DL guys right now and really need help with active players if the news was bad I want to cut bait with him.

What's the latest and when can we expect him back. On the CBSSportsline page update from 7/27 they mention the possibility of TJ surgery.

No Tommy John surgery at this time, but will be shut down for at least couple weeks before they do a re-evaluation and he does any sort of throwing.

I had heard 7-10 days, which would put it a few days from now. Anyone in the Texas area have an update? Can't find anything on their official website...

well i read the couple weeks thing yesterday, so i think it's starting from yesterday, not the day he was injured.

News: RHP Akinori Otsuka received a second opinion on his tender right forearm from orthopedist Dr. Lewis Yocum on Friday and was told he has no structural damage to the elbow or the elbow ligament.

Analysis: Otsuka was told to rest and rehab for about seven to 10 days and will then begin a throwing program. It's unlikely he will return before mid-August.
