Has to be a trade. He hasn't miss many games this season and definetly hasn't missed two in a short span. Since it seems like the Angels may be giving up on Tex, maybe he's going to Anaheim?

I think one report talks about Konerko being fatigued and needed an extra day off

I picked Konerko up in the 5'th round on three teams and round 6 in only one 10 team league... I was waiting for him to stay available but had anticipated passing up for him and going after Chone Figgins who was undrafted until that point because of his injury issues.

In that very same 10 teamer league I picked up Jim Thome in round 13.... I could not belive it!!! I was having a lot of fun with that draft... I am now 45 games ahead of second place. By the way, this was a competitive league with managers widdled down from the 18 team league we were all in last season. These people know what they are doing. Maybe, just maybe, they did not want to make a play on the Thome formerly known as injured 1/3 of the season.

He was scheduled to have another day off today. That's what the yahoo capsule said anyways. Hopefully he'll be back and mashing again on Tuesday!!
