Cliff Lee optioned to the minors

Indians optioned LHP Cliff Lee to Triple-A Buffalo.
It's the right move. The Indians certainly aren't giving up on Lee, who is in the first year of a three-year, $14 million extension, but he clearly has some work to do to get back to where he should be. While Jeremy Sowers is a possibility, Aaron Laffey should be the choice to replace him in Cleveland's rotation.

wasnt this guy their best pitching prospect, a guy who was regarded and talked about with the Gallardos, Lincecums, Baileys, and Hughes of the minor leagues??

I think Lee could be a "end of the season" sleeper this year if he revamps his mechanics...i'll certainly keep an eye on him, he isnt terrible, that stupid injury in the beginning of the year hurt him i think!
