Why are they not putting Hanely down now for surgury on his shoulder?

There are reports that by continuing to come back & doing more damage to the shoulder, that his off-season recovery from surgury could lead well into next year..

Why the heck wouldnt you just have him get the surgury now, so he is 100% ready to go for the beginning of the season in '08

1.Because he has played through this type of shoulder problem before and remained effective
2. They wont have him for long, they want to maximize his production
3. He's on my fantasy team and it isn't a keeper.
