just read on Yahoo Chase might only be out 3 weeks.

yeah i heard this too, but chase could very well be facing surgery and then he would be facing 6-8 weeks.

I like the Iguchi move for the Phils for now, but what happens to him once Utley comes back? He would have no real place on the team (unless he learned to play SS and 3B or something)...

well during the game, they said utley had his surgery this morning and it went really well. didnt really give a timetable but my guess would be around 3-5 weeks.

I don't think Iguchi's a better hitter than most of the guys on the Phils bench though. It'll be interesting to see what they do if Utley's back before September. Would they DFA him, send down Coste, or DFA Helms or Barajas (most Phils fans wouldn't mind seeing him get DFA'd :-] )?

I've had a very similar injury. He'll be just fine. I'd guess he'll miss a month.
