Don't look now, but he has actually been on base for a few games in a row. I believe today's single bumped him to a 7 game hit streak. He has also stolen 4 bases in the last ten games.
What odds do you place on him actually being able to help fantasy teams for the remainder of the year?

I eyeballed him for a while after I made this post...and then grabbed him coming into this week, sending JJ Hardy's empty .270 AVG to the bench.
So far this week he is 7/14 w/ 2 HR 4 RBI 2 SB
His production won't ever be what it was in Cincinatti...but he stole 45 bases last year....speed like that doesn't disappear.

One thing to watch is that the Nats are changing parks mid-season 2008. I have no idea on the stadium dimensions, but don't be too sure that he can't return to form if the park favors hitters.

That might boost his homers back closer to the 20 range, which would be great. But, under Acta, he's not likely to attempt 56 SBs. He's on track for 36 attempts and 25 SBs. 20/25 is definitely better than 13/25, but it's not nearly as valuable as 25/45 if that's the return to form you were referencing.

So is he a good keeper option for next year? What tier of 2B or SS do you see him in?

In a deep league I have been using him at 2B for a few weeks and I have been very happy with the results considering he was a WW pickup.
I don't think he's much of a keeper option at all, someone just mentioned that his numbers could be better in the new park. Without even looking at it there are probably 12 2B's that are better keeper options.
