Assuming Teixeira gets traded to Atlanta, what do we all think the impact of said trade will be on his fantasy value? He leaves the hitters park of Arlington and changes lineups. What do you all think this will mean for him in fantasy terms?
regresses slightly. just take a look at his splits away from arlington. granted hitting in between chipper and andruw jones is much better protection, id think he still takes a slight dip in value.

I think hes value might increase a little due to the lineup. Do splits really matter that much? Look at Soriano's splits when he was in Texas, then he goes to Washington and has a great year.

of course splits mean a lot. you're taking one example in soriano which every prognosticator prodicted a decline. he is merely the exception to the rule.
His career splits show that hes been better at home, But his splits this year are pretty even, and he was a lot better on the road last year. Maybe hes starting to adjust.
I think his value will increase because he'll gain the lineup protection, and his splits both last year and this year dont suggest that he'd drop off much away from arlington. Plus, a move to the NL helps.
I think it's almost a no-brainer that Tex's value rises on the Braves: he's got Renteria, Chipper, Andruw and Francoeur around him - his runs and RBI's are almost certainly going to rise with that kind of protection. And as far as his splits are concerned, they've evened out over the last 1 1/2 yrs and probably won't have too great of an impact over only an 8-week span.
I expect his value to jump some. He's gonna have more runners on base with Rent/Johnson or Harris leading off, then he has Jones/Jones right there with him. The Braves lineup might become one of the best in baseball if this trade happens
