Beltran Injured

WFAN reports that Carlos Beltran injured his abdomen in the batting cage. Milledge to start in CF. Possibly out for a while, not timetable set.

Carlos Beltran was scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to a strained abdominal muscle.
It appears that he could miss at least a couple of games. Lastings Milledge will likely play center field in his place, with Marlon Anderson covering in left.

He does seem to be brittle, but he isn't making it up. Note the 17HR's he hit in 05 when he was on the DL and playing through injury.

Then, note the 41 HR's he had in 06 when he was healthy the whole season.

Now, look at a somewhat disappointing 19HR's and low BA when he is again struggling with an assortment of pesky, but not DL worthy injuries.

Beltran is mt favorite Met , IMO the bets 5 tool star in the city....but he is about as tuff as an ice cream cone wrapped in a doily being held by a puppy.
