Well, that's a bit of a problem then. Because while the hitting is studly, the pitching (especially the starters) is not. But I'd rather have good hitting than good pitching, so I think it's workable. It's too bad you don't have more closers. I don't know if Street will regain his closing job, though 2 good closers (Saito and Gagne) are reasonably competitive in a 12-team league. The SPs are patchwork though, and aside from the injured Hughes (and maybe Lester) I don't see anyone I wouldn't drop for a reasonable spot starter at a moments notice. It might tick off your league-mates, but maybe spot starting is the way for you to go. Keep your eyes peeled for cheap saves to plug in at any moment. Make sure you win W's and K's every week (checking NHSports thread in the "Who to Bench" forum and plugging in FAs who rate a C or better is a great way to start). You'll even win ERA/WHIP some weeks. And if you might luck into a late-season phenom and improve your staff that way. This way you'll probably break-even in the pitching, but the hitting should dominate and I'd like your teams chances of taking the week each time out.
Help with mine please:
