Corpas was named the closer before Fuentes went on the DL, and now that Fuentes is on the DL and Corpas is pitching decent, Corpas is gaining more job security. I don't think Fuentes can get the job back just by coming back and pitching good. It will require Fuentes pitching good, and Corpas getting blowing a couple saves for him to get the job back. He definitely has value if you have a DL spot, because he's more likely to get another shot at the closer role than most relievers out there, but it's still not going to be easy if Corpas continues to pitch well.
