Carlos Lee at 3B?

Interesting. I'll have another option for Atkins at 3B. If Lee got 3B eligibility next year, where would he rank?

I would have to say, it would make 3B really stacked, with youngsters such as Braun Upton and Gordon, joining the elite.

I think OF (considering you have to play between 3 to 5) is very shallow. I haven't looked at a stats comparison recently, but coming into the year, SS was actually a pretty deep position, and OF was down there with 2B. Maybe as far as "elite" players, SS is shallow, but as far as overall production, I looked at it as 1B, SS and 3B close, OF, 2B, C.

I'm praying to the fantasy gods that Lee moves to 3B. My 3B has been a cesspool of really stinky crap this season. Sliding Lee into that slot would be like having that atomic Taiwanese girl I saw in the subway this morning just walk up to me out of nowhere and say things that would get me banned from this forum.

IF he moves to 3B I seriously doubt it would happen before next season. With Pence out the OF is already thin. There's no reason for the Astro's to make a move like that when they're out of the postseason hunt. IF it were to happen this year my guess would be in september, probably later in september. Just enough to see what position to fill in the offseason.
