Actually he hasn't had a Hr in almost a month (June 24th) with only 9 Rbis in that span. That is a pretty long drought.

I actually think Vlad is having more problems than that. Look at his #s before the derby. His walk rate is way up to 2003 levels (a sign someone is hiding an injury) and his power went down each month to start the season. I have him playing in my OF, so I hope he picks it up.

The walks are way up because Vlady had zero protection in the lineup. Quinlan is hitting clean up tonight :-o According to Hudler, Vlad said that the derby has had an effect on his swing.

Watching the Angels game right now... announcers were talking about asking Vlad if the derby affected his swing and he actually said yes!

In the last 17 games, the Angeles, as a team, have hit 2 HRs. :-o

What about Konerko? I hadn't heard about Tejada, I assume he would DH everyday, with Cabrera playing SS? Tejada is a FA in my league and I might pick him up. I have been playing Tulowitzki but if Tejada came back with a new team, he might be better off.
