Actually, this thread points out my two favorite things about Johan Santana (and why, seriously, he warrants consideration as the No. 1 pick overall):
1) His second-half stats are insane.
That was a rough outing, but it only raises eyebrows because Johan is usually a no-hit threat every single start after the break.
2) Johan is never injured.
In the years I have owned him, I've never even seen a single report of a tired this or a sore that or a tweaked the other. Not so much as a hangnail. And this would be because he is a fastball-changeup pitcher with pinpoint control. Not much stress on the arm.
