This is exactly right. In today's UTK, Will Carroll said as much. Basically:
1. It's potentially a devastating injury that could take months to fully rehab.
2. Other players who have tried to jump right back in after such an injury have not had such great results (Sexson, Hardy).
3. But, Han-Ram's injury is different than those, and really, all these types of injuries are wildly divergent, and anyway, no one is sure the severity of the separation in this case.
4. That said, it's a good sign that the Marlins are letting him right back in, but until he's played for a while with no effects shown, none of us are out of the woods.
So, it's probably a good idea to add some insurance right now if you can find it, but there is still cause for optimism. In other words, hope for the best, be prepared for the worst, but that's all any of us knows at the moment.
