Power Out to St. Louis Arch; People Stuck Inside

If you've ever been in the Arch, you'll understand how much being stuck inside one of those Arch trams would absolutely suck. They've been there at least 90 minutes now.

240 people trapped, and Ameren is the power company for the Arch. How appropriate.

No clue why, but that struck me as really funny.

Usually never isn't a term that makes a lot of sense.

It's like saying 90% of the time it works all the time.

Usually never occurs. Just like how Ameren usually never does a good job.

Over the weekend, our local NBC station preempted Saturday Night Live to run coverage of the Arch fiasco. They were obviously running on skeleton crew. The anchor was terrible, and they kept cutting to the weather man for color commentary. So, all of this awful and boring commentary is going on while SNL is being preempted. A buddy of my buddy got bored with hit, so he called the station and said that he was actually trapped in the Arch. They promptly put him on the air.
