H.Street worth keeping?

Postby stcardinal » Sat Jul 21, 2007 7:19 pm

With Saito out, I need to make room for another closer. I have Streets on DL and he's coming back monday but will he close or just be part of the bullpen?

KEEP HIM! Nobody on the A's can challenge Street for the closer spot. They might ease him into it over a few games but it's practically his job the second he returns. Just hope he stays healthy.

He pitched one inning in Triple AAA tonight: 2K's and 1 hit with 15 strikes out of 20 pitches. I think he'll be up and closing games in the near future.

No use in getting rid of him now, I can't imagine him not getting regaining the closer role.

These guys gave you some wrong advice! :)

Embree will continue to close. My guess is that one of them will be traded.

Cy Young??? I smell a delirious A's fan.

Street will be the closer by next week.
