Sweet schedule next week also for Saves with Houston and Colorado. I have to decide between him or Cain or Halladay for my weekly league. If it sounds like he will be limited I will start Halladay over Saito for next week.

Now from Rotoworld:

Takashi Saito will remain behind in Los Angeles on Monday and undergo an MRI on his shoulder.

Saito is expected to join the team in Houston afterwards. The Dodgers keep saying his problem is minor, but it's looking like the DL may be a possibility. Jonathan Broxton will continue to close in his place.

Shoot, going to have to find bench space now..... :-[

Good news from rotoworld:

Takashi Saito's MRI reportedly showed no structural damage in his shoulder. He's hoping to be ready to pitch Tuesday.

Saito said he had less soreness than a few days ago. The Dodgers will know more once he gets back on the mound to test the shoulder.

Great news. :-°

With Fuentes out too, I was down to Accardo. I hope Saito gets back into the flow tonight.

my best guess is that Saito will not be available tonight...

i'll post a couple quotes from today's LA Times about the situation...

Saito didn't share Manager Grady Little's optimism on a potential return to the mound today, but he said he was extremely relieved by the test results.

Saito said he would play catch today and would make himself available to close if he wasn't hurting. But he also said that pain was no longer his only obstacle.

"I've been out for five days, so I've lost my feeling for the mound," he said. "I'm hoping I can get back in the relatively near future."
