Ryan Dempster was activated from the DL in time for today's game according to Rotoworld:
http://rotoworld.com/Content/playerpage ... HC&id=2584He didn't get in the game though. The Cubs had a 4-run lead going into the 9th and Howry finished it off with 1 perfect IP.
I would have to think this solidifies the thought that Howry is back to a setup role. He pitched yesterday and got a save, so they wouldn't pitch him today in a non-save situation if they planned on using him if they got a save situation tomorrow. Looks like Lou has followed through on putting Dempster right back into the closer role.
