Today, I just turned down a free ticket to go to Opening Day.

I can see better uses for the money a suite would cost but turning down a free ticket to opening day?!?!? Even if it is a crappy, rainy day you take the ticket.

Because I'd be tempted to spend money on soda/beer/food/etc...

...and I really wouldn't have a good time.

I think I've become jaded. I'm not happy that the Cards are off to a great start.

I mean, I'm happy for the players, but I really don't like ownership anymore.

Maybe I need to reassess my priorities.

I went to the game Friday. It was really cold but I got a free ticket. I didn't spend a dime the whole night.

How can anyone like the ownership of a Pro sports team? I never liked the ownership, at best I'm apathetic but I'm warming up to the new GM.
