Per CBSsportsline news:
News: Astros OF Lance Berkman, whose left hand has been taped, will have precautionary X-rays when the team is in Pittsburgh starting Friday. "It can get better, but the way for it to get better is with time off," manager Phil Garner said.

Any guesses out there? I guess this could explain alot about his lack of hitting! Hopefully it will just need a few games or a week off to heal. He had been hitting better since the ejection.
