I was now offered CCordero for Niemann by the same manager. As you can see from my roster, I have had only one closer all year. I do have Guardado on the DL for whenever he actually regains his closer role. What do you think? I tried offering Olsen and not Niemann, but the manager is stubborn in targetting Niemann...

The trade is an interesting one, but I don't think you can part with Niemann just on the simple fact that if he's relogated to the pen he could be their closer of the future. And that's if he doesn't turn out to be a good starter.

I like Jones, but you're better off sticking right now

I'd take either Adam Jones and Chad Cordero for Niemann, Niemann might have the ability, but plenty of SP prospects fail in the AL East just due to the sheer competitiveness of the division. As to him being the closer, it's just real hard to guess who the closer will be for any team so I'd rather not count on it.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.

I won't disagree with you wanting to take Jones over Niemann, I think Niemann is a little overrated even outside of the fact he is in the AL East. But I do think it is going to be harder for Jones to be more fantasy worthy than Niemann. High strike out guys are gold and Niemann can at least be that.
