2005 - Brignac finished with a 30-1 record, her lone loss coming against five-time Class 5A state champion St. Amant. This year she pitched 196 innings, giving up 26 hits, 19 walks and striking out 491. She finished with an earned run average of 0.00. Those numbers, along with her .405 batting average, 12 home runs and 33 RBIs show how dominating Brignac was as a junior.
2006 - The 5-foot-9, 155-pound right-hander, Ashley Brignac, missed the start of the season recovering from minor knee surgery, but the returning Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year didn’t miss a beat once she returned, striking out 421 batters and allowing just 14 hits and 13 walks in 159.2 innings. Brignac was 25-0 this season with a 0.00 ERA for the Patriots (30-6-1) and pitched 21 shutouts, 21 no-hitters and seven perfect games. She also hit .500 with six home runs and a slugging percentage of .869.
