Now that Kendall has been traded, does anyone in the Oakland area (or beyond) know the story on this guy? His minor league #s aren't fantastic, but he seems to be playing well so far in the bigs. Now that he's the full time catcher, I'm debating grabbing him and giving up on Ramon Hernandez.

You don't think his numbers are solid??? He's a 23 year old catcher who has an amazing BB/K ratio! He has always maintained an above average batting average. Plus he has some power as evidence by the 2b and HR. In 2004, he won the Johnny Bench Award (given to the nation's top collegiate catcher.) I only hope this guy doesn't do too much this year so I can grab him as a good sleeper next year. This guy is definately someone you want to keep an eye on! ;-D
