Just heard it on ESPN, Cubs got Kendall for Bowen and a minor league player:

So who is the better grab, (Fantasy claim) Kendall, with the change of scenery OR, Suzuki, who now gets the full time gig?

Any thoughts, greatly appreciated.

My bet would go with Suzuki but i dont' think either should belong on a fantasy roster. Suzuki could put up some nice doubles numbers but i doubt he'll hit over .240

Kendall has a few good things going for him: 2nd half numbers are better, hitting in Wrigley field, and Soriano hitting 2 spots back. Not sure if that's enough to give him fantasy value, but I think it'll be better than his first half.

Maybe Kendall will go bonkers in the second half and hit 1 home run.

He'll fit right in with the Cubs and their low home run totals this year.

Kendall will be valuable if he hits high in the order. I mean if he is planted in between hitters like Soriano, Lee, and Ramirez he should be an asset. If he hits in the bottom of the order, I don't see him have any more value than being in the A's uniform.

That is my assessment of this trade, fantasy-wise.
