parra is a 6'3" lefty, he's the brewers 3rd best pitching prospect after gallardo and will inman. he's definately highly regarded, and is one of the more promising pitching prospects in baseball. Here is his bio from brewerfan.net
Parra has a scary combination of abilities. He's left-handed and can throw his fastball in the middle 90's when he has to. Can place pitches and throw the ball inside, middle and outside at will. Fastball is best pitch right now and is a pure power strikeout pitch against right or lefthanded batters. Can throw also cutter that is esoecially tough on right-handed batters. Curveball and changeup are both in need of work, but both secondary pitches project to be above average. Big, muscular, athletic frame. Should be a workhorse. Biggest asset is his brain. Does not get flustered on the mound and will be able to fool hitters as he becomes more advanced.
