All specualation on your part but the fact is he has hit 15 hrs in 322 abs and has been perfect on the bases stealing 15 out of 15.If he didnt miss a whole month of abs he would have a shot at 30-30..

Anyways most the guys on the intial list are in the same ball park as kinsler with alot more at bats! Please bring some facts next time.

Soriano 16HR/13SB
Sheff 22HR/16SB
Wright 16HR/20SB
Beltran 16HR/14SB
Phillips 19HR/17SB
Rollins 18HR/15SB
Sizemore 15HR/25SB
H. Ramírez 14HR/27SB
Byrnes 14HR/19SB
Hart 12HR/16SB
Braun 13HR/8SB in 172AB
Pence 11HR/8SB

Hey, Pence doesn't play in the same ballpark as Kinsler. !+)

All kidding aside, I would estimate the chances Kinsler got to 30/30 at zero. You can extrapolate his stats, quite his CS % or whatever other stats you want, the guy was not going 30/30 this season with 600+ ABs. I have no stats to back this up, but I just don't see any way where Kinsler would have gotten 30 steals. Texas is bad, they lose games big, and the will to steal just gets lost on a sinking ship.

I haven't reread the whole thread but I don't think anyone has mentioned Chris Young (Ari). You can not leave him out of the conversation.

this is true he is on pace for 30 homeruns and 26 stolen bases, he is forgotten about because of his horrible average.

i agree that his average is low. but at the same time that might put his current numbers into perspective. Imagine what he'll do when he hits .275.

why is his average so low? maybe he is like soriano, a fastball hitter who will show power at the lead off spot because of it?
