Someone in my money league picked him up today, ESPN says he could be back by the end of this month. He may be worth a look if you have an empty DL spot.

Watched the Cubs play today and they talked about Wood for a bit. They said that his fastball hit 95 on the gun and that he commented he feels great. Just a month ago or whatever, they didn't expect much out of him but another surgery. Instead he's really responded to rehab and now it appears he may join the Cubs in the near future. They didn't discuss his possible role, but I think it doesn't really matter. Only possible fantasy relevance he could have is in a league with holds. If Dempster falters, though, he could possibly end the season closing some games for them. Just something to keep your eyes on if anyone needs bullpen help down the stretch...
