Ryan Freel

Now that Freel has returned from his injury, can he be counted on to start everyday? I know that Dunn and Griffey are both on the block. Would trading one of them open up an everyday job for Freel or does he already have one regardless if they keep Dunn/Griffey? Also, what type of production can he be counted on for the remainder of the season?

He's the everyday CF as long as Hamilton is on the DL, after that he'll most likely go back to the super utility role he's had in the past unless a trade happens. I'd expect production similar to what he's had in the past in that role assuming he's fully recovered.

Anyone think that's crazy to drop a slumping Youk for Freel?

yea youk is cold as ice right now. i dropped him in a pretty shallow league a while back and have freel now. i say do it..unless its a super deep league.
