woah this is the first tiem i heard of this rumor and what happens to the frank thomas vaule if this happens :-?

since more than likely hell be playing the field all yearmore than likely.

Good point swing away. One other interesting thing to keep an eye on in White Sox land this year is the relationship between Guillen and Thomas. I heard they never got a long as players.

I would highly dobt that this trade is going to happen. Chicago would be stupid to take on that type of payroll to get a injury prone player and a decent pitcher.

As a Sox fan, I hope this deal DOES NOT go down! Konerko only had one bad year, and Griffey can't stay healthy. It would be very bad for them. I too heard that Guillen and Thomas never got along during Guillen's playing days, and he called Thomas out too, and Frank has done nothing. I am a HUGE Frank Thomas fan, but ever since his divorce in 2000, he hasn't been the same person or player. I am starting to get disgusted with him. I hope he can turn things around for good, but it starts with the off field stuff and his 'tude.

Rumor is that they haven't yet spoken since Guillen was named manager. The Big Hurt is going to be The Big Unhappy this year.

I saw an interview where Guillen said, Franks gonna be playing alot of first base this year. The reason is because Guillen doesn't want to sit beside him on the bench and listen to him B!tch about not playing a position anymore. Not great news for Konerko, but I took it as an indication that Konerko is gonna be traded. FOR SURE.

Konerko to LA. ;-D

I would clutter the Reds' bullpen, but at least we'd know that Marte will be the guy in Chicago.
