Angels expected to call up Wood to replace Kendrick (DL)..

The Angels will call up one of their top prospects, 3B Brandon Wood, to replace Kendrick on the roster.

Does Wood have any fantasy value this time around?

Yeah he has a broken finger. I guess it's the same finger as last time. Either that or he's got incredibly bad luck

I just read the same thing about his finger. The fracture was bad enough to put him on the DL. It isn't official on CBS Sportsline yet but Rotoworld is reporting it.

I lost 10 games at 2b waiting for him to come back before, now this again... and he was one of my keepers last year. Screw you, Kendrick!

anyway, yeah, keep an eye on Wood but I wouldn't expect anything too spectacular since he's been K'ing like there's no tomorrow

Temper your expectations for him. I wouldnt expect anything special and as soon as Kendrick comes off the DL, Wood will most likely be sent back down. As mentioned already Wood has been striking out a lot, also the Angels dont seem like they want to commit to this kid, so IMO I wouldnt get too excited.
