I just read the same thing about his finger. The fracture was bad enough to put him on the DL. It isn't official on CBS Sportsline yet but Rotoworld is reporting it.

Temper your expectations for him. I wouldnt expect anything special and as soon as Kendrick comes off the DL, Wood will most likely be sent back down. As mentioned already Wood has been striking out a lot, also the Angels dont seem like they want to commit to this kid, so IMO I wouldnt get too excited.
