He was 1 for 22 between his return and the all star break, then he gets his first 3 hit game of the year the first game after the ASB. I'm hoping he's rested up and can put up decent numbers in the 2nd half (yes, I'd settle for "decent"). I don't know that I'd risk a buy low on him (depends on how low), but I don't think I'd sell low either.

Dye's still sitting on the FA in my league. I'm so tempted to drop LaRoche for him after hearing about the soreness in his knee.

I know how LaRoche's split stats are but it's so tempting. Bad idea?

They're both pretty much bench players unless I need a fill-in...

Dye had 44hr's and 135rbis last year. he can't be this bad all year. get him while you still can IMO.

I wouldn't say it's crazy, but LaRoche was really hot before the ASB, raising his AVG almost 30 points (not to mention the 5 HR in the last 10 games). I think I'd wait it out at least a week before making this move. If you have someone else that isn't so hot right now (like a mid-tier pitcher, or a middle reliever), I'd go get Dye.

I hope he can somewhat replicate what he did after the AS game last year. Could the sleeping giant be waking? He's done well so far after the break ...Another dinger today ...someone actally tried to get him off me this morning for Markakis but I refused it. Go Jermaine!
